A small, simple truth table can be seen here. The wedge basically translates to "or, unless"...making the third column header "p or q".
Google Image will show you many more. If you're into that sort of thing. Freak.
***UPDATE:
Here:
Except for the part where I got a 404 page instead. Unless, of course, you MEANT for us to derive some sort of existentialist truth from the experience of rejection.
Posted by: Rev. Mike at November 15, 2005 09:04 AMGreat goddamn, isn't anyone a gentleman anymore? A simple, "The link is broken, Jen," would've made the point as well...Shank.
Rev. Mike's was actually kind of clever. Wordy, but clever.
Posted by: Victor at November 15, 2005 10:37 AMI wouldn't dish it out if I didn't think Jen could handle it. Plus, I think she likes it rough every once and a while.
Posted by: shank at November 15, 2005 12:38 PMVictor, I would have thought you'd know by now that wordy is my defining characteristic. ;)
Posted by: Rev. Mike at November 15, 2005 07:19 PMAnd we love you for it, Rev, except when there's a 1 o'clock kickoff. You've *got* to learn to cut it off sometime!
Posted by: Victor at November 16, 2005 08:57 AMAnd I forgot to mention my previous Massive Knowledge of Truth Tables, from both my Elemntary Logic & Symantics class and my Digital Logic Circuit Analysis class.
Of course, I really don't remember schquat from either of those classes, but I can safely say OR is basically an addition process and AND is basically multiplication. It's when you get into XOR and XNOR and some other variations that things get *really* interesting.
