I wear mine, but my Dad never wore his unless it was a special occasion, or church. The old man was a marine safety inspector for years, and he saw too many guys get their fingers degloved by their wedding rings on grates, railings, etc. Ironically, after my mom passed he wore his more than I'd ever seen him wear it before. I think he even wears hers on a chain around his neck, but I've never had the balls to ask him.

Yep, 24/7. Unless I'm working on my car or in the woodshop. Rings can make a bad accident horrible.

My wife, on the other hand, takes hers off a lot, because she's very athletically active and doesn't want to knock the stone out of it.

I wasn't going to elaborate on safety, but I also take mine off and put it in my pocket when I'm working inside electrical cabinets at the plant. Gold is just such a nice conductor of electricity.

Harvey reminded me. The Wife takes her engagement ring off at work because she's an RN. The stone could cut through a latex glove causing some kind of infection issue. She wears her band though, since it doesn't have any stones on it.
