A week or so ago, I wrote that if I had a flat-screen monitor, I'd be all set. And poof! I got an LCD monitor! (Thanks, Pete!)
So...
If I had a million dollars and a Corvette (black convertible) and Lasik surgery, I'd be all set.

Posted by: Sgt Hook at January 26, 2006 07:58 AMSpeaking from experience, the million dollars and the Lasik won't be all they're cracked up to be. Almost half of that million will disappear into Uncle Sam's pocket the moment it's sent to you; then he'll continue to bleed the rest from you over the coming years until you're worse off. And Lasik, well we all know which profession has the highest incidence of substance abuse. I'm amazed we trust physicians to point lasers in our eyes.
The Corvette, on the other hand, will bring you years of fulfilling driving.
