It's Like Sunday, But It's Not

I had some odd dreams last night...which I don't remember very well and won't bore you with. Suffice it to say, the South Park guys and Mel Gibson were involved.

By the way, I tend to believe that when you're drunk you say the same things you believe when you're sober--only louder. (Unless you're a guy trying to get a girl to sleep with you. And then you're just a damned liar. But I digress.)

I can also say with all honesty that this drunken outburst of Mr. Gibson's has done nothing to change my opinion of him. I already thought he was an anti-Semitic jackass.

I hope that never turns out to be fact, because I've said some crazy shit whilst intoxicated. Hell, I say crazy shit dead sober; a condition that I'd like to think would negate this theory should it some day prove to be true.

And you have never done or said anything stupid when you are drunk? Must be nice to be perfect.

Pete, that's quite a leap in logic you made there. I have done plenty of dumb things when I was drunk. I've also done plenty of dumb things when I was sober, because I'm just relatively shameless that way. But I don't recall suddenly peppering my language with the N-word or "fag", as examples, when I was drunk. They're not words I use sober and I don't suddenly use them when I'm drunk. The swear words come more frequently after a few drinks, but I swear in everyday conversation as well.

Thank god. If you hadn't admitted to being shameless I probably would quit talking to you.
